It's been requested for a long time, and they've finally delivered something that doesn't work, at least for me. But at least it's a step in the right direction.
The email list is of course already asking for integration or synchronization to link it with [insert your favorite web todo-list or gadget here]. But what's the point of wanting tasks in Gmail if you already have it in some other application?
